Mary Taylor, Realtor

My Personal Background

I was born and raised in Louisville, starting in St. Matthews and ending up in Oldham County before I made the trip to UK for undergrad. I graduated with a degree in education and taught in JCPS for 2 years before changing gears and honing in on real estate. I love teaching people the ins and outs of the process of buying and selling and love to help people reimagine a space to fit their needs.

I have been married to my lovely husband, Ben, for almost three years and we have a dog named Lyla. We love to try new Louisville eateries and enjoy watching the Wildcats play literally anything!

Serving My Community

I am on the committee that helps coordinate the Festival of Trees & Lights and have been for the past three years. I have always been passionate about helping others and working with children. What better way to accomplish both than working with Norton Children’s Hospital?! Seeing the impact the event has on the lives of those we do it for each year is a true joy.

My Hobbies

Love being with friends and family. Trying new restaurants. Taking my dog out hiking!

What Motivates and Drives Me in My Personal Life

I have always had a passion for teaching and helping people. Being in this profession, you get to help people learn and navigate through one of the most important processes in their lives.

Real Estate Background

After obtaining my Real Estate License in October 2018, I worked under a wonderfully brilliant and experienced agent for my first three years in real estate and, now in my fourth year, have branched out on my own!

My Passion for Real Estate

My passion for real estate came from teaching! After buying my own home, I fell in love with learning the process and seeing all of the unique homes Louisville has to offer. I was able to see very closely firsthand what the home purchase and sale process looked like thanks to our REALTOR.

Taking Care of My Clients

I am an over communicator! I make sure my clients are super involved throughout the process so that they never miss a beat. I am able to refer individuals reliable vendors to ensure that you are fully covered before, during, and after your sale or purchase should problems arise.

In my past four years in real estate, I have acquired incredible skills in helping individuals buy and sell real estate at a variety of different levels. From the smallest of condominiums, to the largest of estates, I use the same time, care, and attention to detail with every client.

I am a huge process person. I have lots of templates and step by step procedures that I use to help transactions run smoothly. I am also a really empathetic person, so I am easily able to understand and help people based on their individual needs.

A great agent is someone you can trust (this is one of the biggest investment one can make)! You need someone that knows the process and has the right tools in their belt to handle any and all scenarios and situations. A great agent always has their clients wants/needs in first place. This is what I always strive to achieve.
